Welcome to Mercer | Mettl Survey APIs. This page details the REST based APIs using which you can interact and integrate with Mercer | Mettl Survey application. 

About 360View Surveys:

360-degree feedback is a process which gives a holistic view of employees, with insights from various stakeholders, including peers, subordinates, supervisors, and even self-assessments. This holistic approach provides a well-rounded view of an individual's strengths and areas for improvement, fostering personal and professional growth. This performance management approach encourages teamwork, professional growth, and open communication between different levels of employees. It is a great tool for Talent Development, even more so when used in combination with a few other Psychometric tools.

Prerequisites: 

To fully comprehend our Survey REST APIs, you should be familiar with Survey terminologies and functioning. It is highly recommended that you know the following operations:
  1. How to launch a survey in 360View and upload the participant list.
  2. How to see participant details and their status in a survey. 
  3. How the survey taking experience behaves. 
  4. How to manage participants reports and share them. 
  5. What configurations are allowed in the survey and reports.

API Authentication: 

Our Survey APIs can be accessed using a pair of Public and Private API Keys. When accessing Mercer Mettl 360View APIs, you must always provide 3 mandatory query parameters, i.e.,   ak  (Public API Key) ,  ts  (Current UNIX timestamp) and  asgn  (HMAC-SHA based Signature hashed using the Private API Key), so that the request can be authenticated.

Signature generation process for the  asgn  query parameter can be done as follows:

  4. Get Provider Data: /getProviderData
