Integration with Workable

Workable is the world’s leading hiring platform, helping companies hire better candidates, faster.
Mercer | Mettl's integration with Workable allows you to add an assessment to a job's interview plan, send an assessment to candidates from within Workable and link to the assessment results and reports back in Workable.



Enable the Workable / Mettl integration

To enable the integration, your organization must have an Enterprise account with Mettl.
  1. Contact your Mercer | Mettl Account Manager to request your API Public Key.
  2. Once you have received your API key, go to the settings page in your workable account and open the integrations section (e.g. {your_domain}.workable.com/backend/settings/integrations).
  3. Paste your Public API Key in either "Mercer | Mettl" or "Mercer | Mettl Europe" integration in the list of Assessment Providers as shown in the following screenshot.  If you are using your Mettl account via 
    1. Mettl.com, use the "Mercer | Mettl" integration
    2. Mercermettl.eu, use the "Mercer | Mettl Europe" integration


Add the Mettl assessment to a job's workflow

Once the Mercer | Mettl integration is enabled for your Workable account, you can add Mettl test to your job's assessment stage. To do this for an existing job, navigate to a job and click Edit job from the job's navigation bar. 



From the Job edit page, navigate to Workflow on the right-hand section of the edit navigation bar. In this section, go to the Assessment stage and click Add assessment.



From the Add assessment page, scroll down and select Mercer | Mettl in the list of Third party assessment providers. You will see the full list of tests present in your account on Mercer | Mettl from which you can select the default test for the job's assessment stage. After selecting the test, click on Save changes.



Once the test is saved, you will see your selected Mercer | Mettl test as active, in the assessment stage of your job.



Send and review the test

After a candidate has been added to your job, move the candidate to the Assessment stage and click on the "Send an assessment to the candidate button" as shown in the below image. A new dialog box will open where you can review the test name and click on confirm once you are ready to send the assessment to the candidate.



Once the test is successfully sent, you will see a new comment in the candidate's timeline for the same.



The candidate will then receive an Email from Mettl in the given format with the test link, from which they can directly start the assessment.




After the candidate has completed the assessment, the result will be available in the candidate's timeline along with the full report link. The results can include the score, completion mode, performance category, recommendations, response style, credibility index and more such information depending on how the test is configured.
