Integration with SmartRecruiters

SmartRecruiters enables Hiring Without Boundaries™ by freeing talent acquisition teams from legacy applicant tracking software.

Mercer | Mettl's standard assessment integration with SmartRecruiters makes the candidate selection process smooth and efficient. This integration allows to invite candidate directly from SmartRecruiters, sending multiple assessments, inviting multiple candidates and fetching their scores directly back into SmartRecruiters.

Enabling the Mercer | Mettl-SmartRecruiters integration

To enable the integration, your organization must have an Enterprise account with Mercer | Mettl.

Please navigate to SmartRecruiters dashboard and then to Settings by clicking on your profile icon in the right hand side top corner.
Please click on Apps & Integrations in Administration tab.

Please go ahead and choose one of the following:

Mercer | Mettl Assessments - If you are using your Mettl account via mettl.com
Mercer | Mettl Assessments (EU)- If you are using your Mettl account via mercermettl.eu

Please review all the information that we may need from you and click on Allow and continue.

You will be redirected to Mercer | Mettl to approve the integration.
Once you approve the integration in Mercer | Mettl, you will again be redirected to SmartRecruiters dashboard.
You will now be able to see that the Mercer | Mettl app is now active on SmartRecruiters.

Ordering assessments manually on candidate’s profile

Navigate to candidate’s profile in SmartRecruiters. In the right panel of the profile, click on Browse of Assessments card. Make sure to be on the Preferred tab.

A pop-up with assessments from Mercer | Mettl will be listed here. You can select single/ multiple assessments from the list and send invites to the candidate.

The candidate will receive the following email from Mercer | Mettl using which they can directly start the assessment:

You will be able to see that the assessment is sent to the candidate and also the status of the assessment as pending which is represented by a grey dot in front of the assessment.

You can view the status of the assessment as in progress which is represented by yellow dot while it the candidate is taking the assessment.

Reviewing candidate's result

You will be able to see the result of the candidate, detailed report as well as assessment status as completed represented by a green dot after the assessment has been completed. To view the detailed report of the candidate, please click on the paper clip icon below the green dot.

Ordering assessments automatically via hiring process

Navigate to Settings in SmartRecruiters dashboard and then to Hiring Process in the Configuration tab.

click on hiring process step that you want to associate assessment to and click on Assessments.

Click on Configure button then. Filter out Mercer | Mettl as an assessment provider from the top right corner.

Select the assessment you want to auto trigger in the selected stage of hiring process and click on Save. Toggle on the Auto-Triggered button to send the associated assessment directly to the candidates when they are moved to this stage.

Please go ahead and select the candidates you want the assessment to be auto triggered to. Please click on Action then.

Please select Change the status of selected candidates.

Please select the stage where the assessment is already associated, and the assessment will be auto triggered to the selected candidate all at once.

Once the assessment is completed, the scores are posted back on the candidate’s profile. Also to view a detailed report of the candidate, please click on the paper clip icon below the green dot.
