How to view the attendance of test-takers in an assessment?

1. On the "My Tests" page , choose any one assessment, then select "Test-Takers" as shown on the below page. 



2. The "Test-Takers" page will appear. On the top right side, select the "All Test Links". After clicking on this a drop down will appear now, select a particular test link or we can search the link in the search box and then select apply. Go to the results page of the assessment to see the attendance of the test takers. 




3. We can check the no. of the test-takers who have attended the test. We can also check the overall status of the test-takers by clicking on the filter option beside "Overall Status" as highlighted in the below image. 




1. The different stages of the test-takers are as follows:




a. Yet to start
  1. The test taker has not started the test. 
  2. This section means the candidate has filled in the registration details and is yet to start the test. 
b. Blocked
  1. Test-takers have been blocked by authorizer in case the credentials don’t match or in case they were engaged in any kind of malpractice. 
c. Not Started 
  1. This means that the candidate has been invited for the test, but he hasn't started the test yet. 
  2. Access time has expired. 
d. In-progress
  1. This means the test taker is attempting the test and the test is in progress right now. 
 e. Completed
  1. Test has been completed by test-taker or it has been auto-submitted. 
f. Test-Stopped
  1.  The test was stopped due to violation of cheating rules.
  2. The candidate, test stops when the candidate keeps switching the tab from his test screen and browsing tolerance is exceeded in the assessment. 
g. Disconnected
  1. Test-taker was disconnected either due to disconnection from server or test-taker closed the window. 

2. How to Revoke the Test Takers:

Note: This is only applicable to those test-takers who haven’t started the test yet.  

1. To revoke the test takers of a particular assessment. Click on "test-link(s)" as highlighted in the image. 



2. After clicking on "test link(s)", all links a tab will open. Now we must select the link for whom the "revoke access" it is to be given. 



3. After selecting the link, the link option will appear. Now, click on "candidates" as highlighted in the below image. 



4. When we click on "candidates", the email address and the name of the candidates will appear. To revoke access, select on the cross option beside every test-takers name as highlighted in the below image. 



3. To the Revoke access in Bulk.

  1. When we select "test-takers" page of any one assessment.


  1. After clicking on the "test-takers" page will be opened in a new tab. Now click on the "All test links" and select on the particular link checkbox.

  1.  Now, select the checkbox beside "Name and Email Address" as highlighted in the below image.

  1. By checking on the checkbox, all the "test takers" will be selected. Now, select  "Revoke Test-Taker"


  1. After clicking on "Revoke Test-Taker", the below dialogue box will appear. While revoking we have the option to notify the test taker through an email sent by Mercer | Mettl.




4. How to revoke the Individual test takers from the results and Report Page: 

 
1. To revoke the access of a particular test-taker. Click on "test-taker" as highlighted in the image. 

 


2. When we click on “test-takers”, the report tab will appear. Now select on the top right option “All test link” and click on the dropdown.  To select the link, click on the checkbox of the specific link in which the candidate has been mapped and then select apply.  


 

3. Once we click on the link, the no. of test-takers will be displayed as shown in the image below.  On the bottom right corner under “actions”, there is an option to revoke the access of test-takers. We can revoke the access of an individual test-taker.  




4. Once we click on revoke access, a dialogue box will appear. Once you click on proceed, the test-taker won’t be able to take the test.  



Note: In case if you want to notify the candidate then click on enable, an email will be sent to the test-taker.  
 
5. To the Revoke access in Bulk 

1. We have to select the "test-takers" page of any one assessment. 
 


2. After clicking on the "test-takers" page will be opened in a new tab. Now click on the "All test links" and select on the particular link checkbox. 


 
3.  Now, select the checkbox beside "Name and Email Address" as highlighted in the below image. 

 
4. By checking on the checkbox, all the "test takers" will be selected. Now, select "Revoke Test-Taker".  

 
5. After clicking on "Revoke Test-Taker", the below dialogue box will appear. While revoking we have the option to notify the test taker through an email sent by Mercer | Mettl. 




6. Excel Download

To download the excel of the test-takers, please follow the below steps: 

1. On the "My Tests" page, choose any one assessment, then select "Test-Takers" as shown on the below page. 



2. After clicking on "test link(s)", all links a tab will open. Now we must select the link for whom the "revoke access" it is to be given. 



3. After selecting the link, the link option will appear. Now, click on "candidates" as highlighted in the below image. 



4. When we click on "candidates", the email address and the name of the candidates will appear. Now, click on "download" as shown below. 



5. After downloading the excel sheet. We will get a consolidated list of all the test takers who have been mapped to a particular link. The excel will contain the test taker’s details such as first name, email id, private invitation test link, details of currently active registration fields associated with the test, etc.
