Enable Examine LTI in Docebo

Docebo offers a single platform solution to support your entire learning process – from development to delivery.
This article explains how you may enable Examine in Docebo .

LTI Tool Setup

  1. Login as admin:
  2. Navigate to settings> Central Repository


  1. Click on Add Training Material



  1. Select LTI from the list of type of training material.


  1. Input the following details on the next page.
  2. Enter tool Title.
  3. Enter the Launch URL field - 
    1. https://lms.mettl.com/lti/launch (For India server)
    2. https://lms.mercermettl.eu/lti/launch (For EU server)
  4. Consumer key and Shared secret : To be shared by your Mercer | Mettl Account Manager.
  5. Under Privacy, set to always share launcher's name and email with tool.
  6. Please select Completion as After receiving feedback from the external tool.
  7. Please select View mode as New Window.
  8. Click on Save Changes.
  9. Navigate back to Central repository and you will find your created tool there.
  10. Click and push the training material to the course you want to select.

Map an Assessment to a Course

  1. Login as an instructor that is enrolled to the course.
  2. Navigate to settings> Course Management


  1. Select the course and navigate to the Training Material.

  1. You may enroll candidates as learner in this course.
  2. Navigate to My Courses and Learning Plans.



  1. Click on the course and click on Start Learning Now.

  1. Click on Login as Test Creator.



  1. Go ahead and Add the assessment to the course.



  1. You are redirected to the anti cheating settings. Please choose the settings and click on Add to Course.



  1. You will receive a green banner indicating that the assessment has been added to the course. 


Take the Assessment as a Candidate

  1. The student can login into Docebo, navigate to My Courses and Learning Plans and navigate to the course. Then click on activity that appears below Start Learning Now tab.

  1. The candidate is redirected to Mercer | Mettl platform for the assessment.

View the Score of the Candidate

  1. Navigate to settings and then click on Course Management under E-Learning.



  1. Click on your Course and then click on Reports.

  1. Scroll below to see the score of the candidate.

  1. For additional details, please navigate to course and then click on the tool. Please Login as Support User and search by candidate's Email. You will be shown all the details along with the report link for the candidate.
