1. Click on the “Create New Test” button.
2. Enter a name for your test in the “Test Name” text box and click “Proceed”.
3. Type the required skill name in the add skill text box. Now select the relevant skill from the drop-down that appears.
4. To customize your test:
a. To change:
i) Section name: Double-click the default section name and type the desired name.
ii) Difficulty level: Double-click the present difficulty level and select the desired value from the drop down.
iii) Question Type: Double click and choose from the available question types.
iv) Number of questions: Double-click the present value for number of questions and select your number from the drop down.
v) Correct grade/marks: Double-click the current marks and enter the desired value.
vi) Incorrect grade/marks: Double-click the current marks and type in the desired value with a negative sign.
vii) Selection: Double-click the current value and select the desired value from the drop down.
b. Select specific questions: Click on Select-Q and select your questions from the list that appears.
5. To get access to advanced settings, click “Advanced Options”.
a. To manage settings for the test, click “Test Options”.
i) To add instructions that will appear right before starting the test, check “Show custom message before assessment starts” and type in your instructions.
y-paste, check “Allow copy and Paste”(used specifically for Coding questions).
iii) To show report to the candidates, check “Show report to candidates after test finishes” and specify the passing percentage.
iv) To redirect the candidates to a specific page after finishing the test, check “Redirect candidates after test finishes” and enter the URL of the page.
v) Check "Provide on-screen calculator to test-takers" if you wish to enable the on-screen calculator.
b. To add instructions that will appear right before a section starts, click “Section Options” and type in your instructions.
c. To set the mandatory details of the candidates, click “Candidate Registration Fields” and check the boxes which are required as mandatory.
d. To change the order in which sections appear in your test, click “Section Order” and set the order.
6. Once you are done with the settings, click “Save and exit”.
